Mario Arroyave solo's for the win at Lago Vista  A huge win for Velossimo Racing this weekend at Lago Vista. The wind on Sunday's race shattered many of the fields but Velossimo Racing's Mario Arroyave appeared unaffected and solo'd away for the victory. The race saw an early selection by a group of 12 riders that contained both Mario and his teammate David Arteaga. Teammates Russell Metoyer and Draye Redfern stayed back in the peloton covering attacks and shutting down any serious threats to the break. Eventually the break was away for good and had several minutes on a now very disheartened peloton. With just over 30k remaining, Mario attacked the leaders in what was a very bold and aggressive move because of the strong winds. The cat and mouse game in the lead group began as Mario was putting serious time into the chase pack. Mario kept the afterburners on full throttle and was able to ride away from the field to take the overall victory. David Arteaga remained in the lead chase pack of riders and ended up taking the pack sprint for 5th overall. Outstanding riding and way to work as a team everyone! Go Go Velossimo!
