"When I first got to Austin I couldn't get all the way up the steep hills in west Austin (think Ladera Norte) without stopping to rest. And that was using my triple. By the time Chann got through with me I was doing 4 repeats on that hill without the triple; I had placed 3rd in my age group on the King of Jester climb; and was able to climb famous cols in the Pyrénées. Plus I learned to shave my legs."

 "Jen, you were amazing at preparing me for my first 1/2 Ironman!  The workouts were right on and I knew exactly how to attack the race, what and when to eat, how to focus on and work the hills and really take advantage of the dynamics of the course!   And the training never got boring!  You were always right there with suggestions and hints and encouragement.  I went into the race with such intrepidation!  I was so afraid!  But the training kicked in and I

Hey Jen, I just wanted to say thank you for being such an awesome coach.  I can't believe just months ago I was sick and soooo out of shape, worn out and didn't imagine I'd be winning races anytime soon!  You've been so great in helping me keep focused and motivated.  And it felt unbelievable to have your support and confidence in me yesterday - your faith in me made me realize I could stick it!
